Dear Santa This year in grade 11 has been one of the best years of my life it has been a really good experience at Princess Margret Secondary School.  This year I have been a good boy I have been doing all of my home work and listening to my parents, I have also been helping out around the house.  

I have been joining in the school activities and programs around the school. This year I am planning on joining the school rugby team we usually do very good and have a strong team. This year I have also been playing soccer in my local town Penticton B.C.

Santa since I have been such a good kid this year I would like to ask you for some new rugby cleats and a England jersey I think that I deserve this gift because I have been such a good boy.  In my stoking I would just like some little stuff like chocolate and gift cards.

Thank you Santa for your time on reading my letter I know you are a very busy man around this time of year. I appreciate it a lot thank you. Have a good Christmas and Enjoy 2011.

                “You are older now than when you started reading this poem”

“Aging”, by Michelle Disser, discusses how you are always becoming older every second and you can never go back to the age you where. “Aging is a continual process”, life is going by so fast and you can’t slow it down in any way live life to the fullest. “ First you consider yourself lucky to see the large cat” when you are younger you are always wanting to grow up to fast and wanting to become an adult right away but then you realize “it starts coming to quickly” your life is going by so fast “and you wish it to stop, to retreat”.  In this poem written by Michelle Disser is sums up how your life goes by so fast and you have no control over how fast you grow up.

OH Captain my captain. 
Hello Captain  Van Camp I am aware of the rough situation that you are in right now. I hear that we are all running out of oxygen and that there is only enough air to keep 5 brave worriers alive. This is a tough predicament  that we are all in here, some people are going to have to give up there lives and others are gonna be able to live. Captain  I am willing to do what ever it takes to be a survivor. To be able to live from this ship wreck will be a very inspiring and life turning point in any ones life. So you have a really hard decision and a hard job to pick the 5 right people for the amazing life time experience and I am willing to do what ever I have to do to keep my self alive. I am a really hard worker I do what ever it takes I play a high level of hockey and will push my self to the max to stay alive I also have a good back ground in construction I build house and renovate homes , I help out when help is needed I volunteer and i am a good Canadian Citizen. If you were to pick me to be 1 of the 5 people to live I would build you a brand new house as big as you want and with what ever you want in it for free and I will also send you and your family on a 5 star vacation to the Caribbean for how ever long you want.

back in time in the 80's

One night I went to bed it was a very quit and peaceful night. The next morning I woke

up and I was in this dark room I have never seen it before it was the weirdest situation I

have ever been in, in my life, it was dark cold and I could hear voices and music coming

from the other room. I got up and started to walk around and try and figure out were

abouts I was, I found the door eventually and I walked down a narrow hallway and I

reached a door. I opened the door and walked into another room I was in a club with

music and lights every were. I took a good hard look around to see if I new anybody,

all I saw was people with Afro's and glasses and on roller blades rolling around the

floor. I started to walk to the front of the club and I saw a sign saying welcome to

the 80's. I thought to my self "What the 80's"?? and I turned to the person next to me and

asked "What year is it"?? and she replied its the "80's hahaha" .  So I quickly ran out side

and down the street I was so scared and had no idea what was going one the last thing I

could remember was going to bed that night and all of a sudden I am in the 80's? I have

traveled back in time. I called a taxi and went to the city hall because I have heard that

they had a time traveler in the city hall. When I got to the city hall I quickly ran In side

and I asked the lady at the front desk were abouts the time machine was she pointed me

in the direction. When I got to the time machine the guy asked what year I wanted to go

to and I said “2011 sir”, so I hoped in the machine and it took me right back to my house

in bed were I was last night.
